Our mission is to help people help themselves by amplifying their voices and supporting their ideas. By providing a platform for people to share their knowledge, skills, and creativity, we aim to empower individuals and communities to take action on the issues that matter most to them. Our programs focus on empowering individuals and communities to lift themselves out of poverty and hardship. We work directly with community leaders to understand the specific challenges and obstacles to opportunity as a result of conflict. Based on these insights, we develop tailored education and skills training programs to provide people with practical skills and knowledge to start small businesses or find good employment. Rather than dropping in aid and leaving, we take a long-term approach to build local capacity and foster sustainable community development. By working with communities to design solutions and providing tools and resources for people to be self-sufficient, we are able to help restore hope and opportunity, one person and one community at a time. Overall, our goal is to eliminate the barriers to a life of dignity and purpose, unleashing human potential even amidst difficult circumstances.
